Hi friends, I'm pretty new to this website, I've been researching & reading up about black hat ways of promoting and increasing money. I've read other peoples journey with blackhat and their $ journey to 10$ a day or more. Personally while it appears that way works great, I want to try a white hat approach.
I'm 20 years old, I've been working at a veterinary hospital for the past 1 year. I've missed just a few days in that one year due to sickness. I've made my boss thousands of dollars and even helped create a project that makes him 5000$ a month. Just recently I resigned (due to my boss not appreciating me) & to follow my dream/vision/passion of being my own boss & working from home. I live in paradise right now(Hawaii), so I want my work atomsphere to be paradise too and not always be making someone else thousands of dollars when I'm only making 8.25$.
My tools in this journey:
Making Youtube Videos Daily (1-2 days a video)
Blog Posting on my Wordpress Website (2-3 articles a day)
Answering People on Yahoo & back linking to my website
Craigslist & Backlinking to my website.
Comission Junction(affiliate marketer)
I'll be posting my views from my wordpress website daily and my income from ads. Right now I already have my website setup so I'm just looking for more tips & ways to increase blog traffic white hat style. I average about 30-50 views a day on my blog.
I'm giving myself a 3 month deadline to be making 10$ a day. I know that's very obtainable but I want to set a realistic goal.

Well, you got some link diversity which is good. I don't know what niche you are in or what your blog is about but I can def. recommend building relevant links.
Do some link prospecting to find relevant blogs, forums and other communities that you can participate in. It's a good way to get exposure for your blog, build links and get some referral traffic.

I actually made a little more income today with the help of tweaking some features on my ads. I emailed 24 people, some were corporations, others were people with similar niche blogs trying to pitch my website & build links with them. Thanks to the link from iwantl00t. I uploaded a youtube video, am trying to connect with people on youtube as well to increase my views. Overall today was pretty good.I went to a backlink site and calculated how many I have. As of current I have 13 backlinks.

Heard back from 1 person that I emailed yesterday, he wanted to guest blog on my website. For some reason my theme doesn't allow it though so I'll have to have him email me his draft and post it for him. He wanted to setup a backlink between us though which would be good. Still at 13 backlinks.
Well I didnt do too much IM today unfortunately. One of the reasons my website views is down probably because I didnt blog post today. I did brainstorm an upcoming project I have with my partner. Going to be making daily videos on youtube about my niche and showing to others. Should be good, since I'm a youtube partner the income from ads should continue to grow. I didn't make as much from ads as I did yesterday, about 50 cents less. Still though from switching some options I've tripled in clicks but lost about 25% in pageviews. I guess thats normal. Still a big increase in revenue from ads so far though (2 days in).
Tomorrow is the first official video of my new series I have, I'm going to post some more on my blog & try to reach out to community and let them know more about my website.

Good luck. I'd make sure to post some directory links to boost your domain authority. It will help your blog post get picked up faster by many search engines not just google. My traffic on a site I run a similar strategy is 70% google search and like 25% organic from other engines.

Earnings: Well My earnings were the same as yesterday, so thats not bad but I'd like it to increase. Guess I need to put more youtube videos out. I put one out yesterday but none yet today. Tomorrow starts official series of one video a day.
I feel like today was pretty productive, no major sales & i'm still less than 2$ a day but I'm doing my best! Hopefully it will improve. I just need to keep getting traffic and sending people to visit my blog!
Tomorrow: I plan on submitting my blog to another 20+ blog directories. It times time though cause I have to register with each website. Make a YT video, hopefully another blog post & another article or two posted & shared with the article sharing site.

I am actually impressed with what you are doing. Most blog marketing tactics take a few weeks to see some actual daily revenue so I am shocked that have achieved a little bit under the 2$ mark daily. Within 3 days of course!

2$ a day is nice but I cant really seem to increase that more for some reason. Right now I'm relying on affiliate sales or ad clicks to bring revenue. Hopefully I'll get some good conversion eventually from the viewers. I like how I had one less view on my website today lol
I wrote 3 articles yesterday & submitted them to an article sharing site with my affiliate link on the niche. However I got no views so maybe that's a waste of time because I invested like 45 minutes writing those 3 articles and didnt get any results. I'll continue to find plans & ideas that work

Didn't do much today sadly, I went and spent time with my girlfriend & let my you tube get views and hope for adsense revenue which turned out I got more today than any day so far.
Earnings: Increased my earnings by 0.50$ cents from yesterday, my clicks on ads increased by 7 since yesterday which is good so hopefully that will continue. More clicks= more money!
Going to submit another 6-9 articles tonight to the article database with my affiliate link on the product. I haven't seen any turn around or sales from it yet but its still early in the game so we'll see.

Dude this is awesome! I admire your determination and your desire to start a new life style. Couple things I had questions about, is your blog about your niche that you talk about, are they the same thing? If so does it have keyword traffic? And are you doing SEO techniques to rank for that traffic?
Because the combination of ranking for google traffic and having direct traffic due to quality content is unbeatable.
With that being said you will have $2 dollar days(that's really good for how new you are to it) but if you persist it will become worth it.

My blog has my personal blog section where i talk about my niche, products from affiliates regarding my niche as well. So my niche is in both areas. I have a wordpress site so I use SEO Yoast & try to optimize on site seo. Seems to be good but I dont really get that much seo keyword traffic at least from what my wordpress stats say.

So I made a video today regarding my niche & uploaded to youtube. I blog posted twice on my website today & posted them to 8 different social sharing sites each post(i do that everytime I post). Most of my views come from stumble upon which is interesting. I emailed a company about my niche to see if they would be willing to send me products to review & post on my website.
I submitted about 9 total articles to a sharing site within the last week, I haven't had any conversions from it and the highest views are about 10 views on the articles. So at this point I think I'm just better of writing them on my own blog and doing good SEO optimization for views instead of posting somewhere else.
Earnings: Sadly My earnings were less than yesterday, Yesterday was a little over 4$ and today was just over 2$. So about a 100% loss but sometimes those days happen.
I'm reading up a lot on google & here learning ways to optimize and get high traffic content to my website. Hopefully that will pay off soon...

So I've been using SEO Yoast for a while now and I like it but just today I found out about Easy WP SEO so I decided to get it. I'm now going to spend the next couple hours/days optimizing each blog post I can. I have over 2000 total blog posts (some are just affiliate posts with image/links regarding my niche). Hopefully this change will be a nice increase of traffic visitors.

Earnings: 1.02$ increase over yesterday, today was above 2.50$ almost at 3$ today.
I didn't really do too much today, I spent most of my day with my GF and running errands. I'm currently rendering a video to upload to YT regarding my niche. I'm going to blog post it after that then continue on with my Easy WP SEO optimizing. I've done like 5 articles so far that went from 56% rating in easy WP SEO to 95%. So definitely an improvement. Not sure if I've seen return from search engines yet but I think that will take a few days. I also updated my youtube banner to be more attractive and give people incentive to sign up on my website.

Be careful when you post links on Yahoo, it worked well for me for a month or so, but they've recently been banning me every time that I post any youtube/wordpress link (or link to my website).
I do not understand why, because this guy by the name of 'Dr. Martin Thomas - Facebook Expert' posts links to his site (fbpurity) on every single Timeline related question, but hasn't been blocked.

Yeah I had two yahoo answer emails and I got banned on both of them. IF you get reported for violation by another user, I think it takes just a few of those then your suspended. One of my accounts was a level 2 and could post clickable links, it helped with traffic some. I then made a new account just to post daily with a link and within 2 hours of signing up my new account got suspended on that one as well. Sucks now... must be something new.

Earnings: Today's earning were over 3.50$! About 1$ over yesterdays earnings. Which is good. The same amount of views but the CPC was up about 3 cents which made the difference in the end. I dunno if the CPC is random or will continue to increase!
I had some more time today so I uploaded a youtube video, made two blog posts and then started optimizing a few of my posts and aiming for 100% with easy WP SEO score. Most I got to were 88-95% seo score. It took me a long time just to optimize a few though. I've got over 2800 posts on my blog total(some include affiliate pictures with links only though). Still will take me a while to get all those with a good seo score.
I also posted on about 10 blogs in my niche, trying to build back links manually. Hopefully that will pay off.
Tomorrow I have to make another youtube video(I make one everyday) regarding my niche. Some blog post about it, maybe try and build some more backlinks too!

Today was pretty good, made a good youtube video, got two blog posts in my website and I also put a CPA content locker on one of my blog posts. That contains a download link to a pretty important pdf regarding my website. I dont have any earnings from the content locker yet but we'll see how that turns out.
So i decided to buy some backlinks from fiver for 5$, apparently it'll send 40,000 backlinks to me. Has good feedback & people say it worked well. We'll see how that turns out(5 days for delivery). I was tempted to buy scrapebox but I dont know enough about it yet and im not sure I want to invest that much money into this just yet.

I woke up at 7:45AM today instead of the usual 11AM so I was able to get some more stuff done regarding IM which is nice

am telling you that $2-$5 you are making a day is more that most of the forum members are making and you are doing great
if you keep doing this for a year, you could be making 2 to 3 figures a day with adsense only

Today was a good day, I accomplished a lot with my IM, bulk emailed to people, posted on ebay, made my YT video, posted on my blog. The most time consuming thing I've noticed just today is that the forum posting for $ takes me a long time. to make those 4$ I had to invest about 3 hours of forum posting. Cant be 1 sentence either. At least like 2-3 relevant sentences.
Still though, this is my job and i need to be focused so im doing my best

Day 16 (3-30-2012)Website Views: 108 views
Things I did today:
*Uploaded 1 youtube video
* 1 blog posts on my website
*made some forum posting for money (very time consuming)
*currently posting to over 40k URLS for backlinks not with my money site yet tho. Once good list then will blast money site with maybe 1k URLS or so.
*Posted one of my items on ebay to sell(pair of jeans)
*emailed over 100 people about my product via email marketing
Earnings Today:
Forum Posting:4.19$
Adsense: Over 2.50+ $
Total: 6.69$
Todays earnings from adsense was lower again, makes sense because I cant seem to have too many days in a row above 3$ yet. The best was 5 days in a row so im not complaining

1. I get around 100 views or so a day on my website. I have maybe around 2000 subscribers but that includes my youtube base too.
2. I'm just selling random things i dont need on ebay.
3. I use sony vegas for youtube video making
4. Its about my niche which i dont want to share right now
5. For creating backlinks? I usually post on both forums & blogs and have a link back to my website to create a backlink.

I noticed you could sometimes make 1-2 YT videos a day, is it just text-based videos or you talking in it?

I've had my youtube account for over 1 year. This is a journal that started 16 days ago trying to make solid income from it. I'm a youtube partner too so you gotta take into account i make some from adsense via youtube. My videos are mainly me talking in it about my niche since i have interested followers & also sometimes text based with audio
